GecckoProof is the management layer Geccko does not have. Here is exactly how it works for your service, from setup to audit report.
learning.education.gov.au is the Australian Government's training platform. Staff log in individually and complete mandatory child safety training. The training is free, thorough, and exactly what regulators require. GecckoProof does not replace it.
Geccko has no management view. As the approved provider, you cannot see who has completed training, when they did it, or generate any report. Every staff member has their own account. You have zero visibility.
GecckoProof sits on top of Geccko. Staff upload their certificates here. You get a real-time dashboard, automated reminders, and a PDF compliance report you can hand to any auditor on the spot.
Sign up at the link above. Enter your service name, state, service type, and director email. Set a four-digit PIN you will remember. The system generates a unique service code for your service (for example, SUN001).
Log in and add every person who needs Geccko training: educators, admin staff, volunteers, students, cooks, anyone working at the service. Assign each person's role. GecckoProof generates a unique upload link for each person automatically.
Click "Get upload link" next to any staff member's name and copy it. Send it by text, email, or whatever you normally use. Each link is personal to that staff member and requires no login or app download.
Each person logs into Geccko, completes both foundation courses, downloads their completion certificate as a PDF, and uploads it via their GecckoProof link. Your dashboard updates instantly when they do.
Your dashboard shows every staff member with a clear green tick for done or a red indicator for not done yet. Automated reminders chase anyone who has not completed within 14 days of starting.
When a regulator asks for evidence, click "Audit report" in your dashboard. A PDF is generated immediately showing every staff member's name, role, completion date, and certificate status. The report references section 162B of the Education and Care Services National Law.
The NQF requires everyone involved in providing education and care to complete mandatory training, even if they have no direct contact with children.
Required from 27 Feb 2026. Advanced training also required from July 2026.
Including family day care educators. Foundation training required by 27 August 2026.
Even people with no direct child contact. If they work at the service, they need to be tracked.
Kitchen staff are frequently overlooked and come up in assessment findings.
Including student placements. GecckoProof tracks them separately with their own upload links.
Owners, directors, committee members with operational control. All captured under the legislation.
