Last updated: April 2026. These terms govern your use of GecckoProof. They are written to be understood, not to obscure what you are agreeing to.
By creating an account, starting a free trial, or using any part of GecckoProof, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not create an account. If you are creating an account on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
GecckoProof is a compliance management and record-keeping platform for approved providers of NQF-regulated early childhood education and care services. Its purpose is to help track whether staff, volunteers, and students have completed mandatory Geccko child safety training, store copies of completion certificates, and generate compliance reports.
GecckoProof is not a training provider. The mandatory national child safety training required under section 162B of the Education and Care Services National Law must be completed through Geccko at learning.education.gov.au. GecckoProof is entirely independent and is not affiliated with the Australian Government, the Department of Education, ACECQA, or Geccko.
New accounts receive a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription. If you do not subscribe, your account moves to read-only mode and your data is retained for 90 days before deletion.
GecckoProof is offered on a subscription basis at the pricing shown on the pricing page. All prices are in Australian dollars. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically each month. Annual subscriptions renew on their anniversary date. All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store or have access to your credit card details.
Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time with access continuing until the end of the billing period. Annual plans can be cancelled for a pro-rated refund on unused whole months. No cancellation fees apply.
You are responsible for the accuracy of all information entered into GecckoProof and for ensuring that certificates uploaded are genuine and accurately represent actual training completion. GecckoProof cannot independently verify certificate authenticity. You are responsible for keeping your service code and director PIN secure.
GecckoProof provides a record-keeping and tracking service. It does not guarantee that your service will pass an audit or meet regulatory requirements. Compliance with section 162B and all associated requirements remains entirely the responsibility of the approved provider. The audit report generated by GecckoProof is a management tool and does not constitute a formal certification or regulatory assessment.
The GecckoProof platform is owned by Purelayer. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform. You retain ownership of all data you enter into GecckoProof.
GecckoProof is provided as a software service "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, we exclude all warranties. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the total subscription fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
We aim to keep GecckoProof available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for loss or inconvenience caused by planned or unplanned downtime.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. Upon termination, your data is retained for 90 days before deletion unless you request earlier deletion.
Our Privacy Policy forms part of these terms and is available at geckkoproof.com/privacy.
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, where Purelayer is registered. Both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute through good faith negotiation for 30 days before pursuing formal legal action.
